BMW X2 SUV 2018 review from carwow

Here is a quick review of BMW X2 from carwow. Unfortunately, it's not a real test drive review, but they did a good job of mixing all available renderings, prototype videos and information in one video.

For a second I thought it was a test drive review, uncommon with how recent its full reveal was. Carwow got some pretty close up shots of the new X2 and I noticed the seats folds down three ways! A great feature that automakers are doing away with for some off reason.

The guy from the video pointed out that "Apple CarPlay is an option, but there is no Android Auto for some reason...", do you like AA better than Apple Carplay too? Cause as for me the Apple Carplay is better and from the article "8 Out of 10 Americans Want Apple CarPlay in Their Next Car" it seems like it's more popular in the US than AA.

Well, if anyone here is looking for some real insight and information the X2, it will help if you start with the X1. Why you ask? For the simple reason they ride on the same platform and I bet that going from the X1 to X2 there will be some similar characteristic carried over. BMW has been known to do that and not mask over what a similar model does.

I'm just surprised with how many features the X2 comes with as an affordable model, also huge fan of the pinch and zoom option for the navigation system. That makes it similar to the map systems we use on our phones and much more appealing to buyers.

It depends on what's affordable for you. The starting price at $38,000 may not be affordable for a bigger part of the market, however, I do agree that X2 offers a lot of cool features.

If that surprises you then have a look at what other car makers are offering in this segment along with surrounding segments because very quickly you will discover that BMW isn't in the business of standing out, quite the contrary, often they just keep up. Now if we talk about M models.... different story.
